WHY- For the kids of course! Kids of all ages, young and mature, this park will be for EVERYONE! People of all abilities will be able to enjoy this Splash Park located right here in Red Bluff. Currently, all of our parks are inaccessible for children with disabilities, our Red Bluff River Park needs revitalization, and we all need a place to cool off In the heat of the Red Bluff summers!
WHAT-Just what is a splash park you say? A splash park is a water park that has popping jets of water, bucket drops, cannons, rainbow effects and so much more. The splash pad will not have any standing water- It’s easily accessible for those that require medical equipment to roll onto the surface and enjoy some water therapy! There is not any standing water. The splash pad will not require the assistance of a lifeguard, but, If you’re looking for pool experience, the Red Bluff City Pool Is located right next door. This is the perfect location for your all Inclusive summer fun hotspot!
WHERE- The splash park would be located at the site of the Old Caterpillar Playground, and will replace this playground entirely. The Red Bluff River Park is one of the biggest assets that the City of Red Bluff has to offer. We have such a hidden gem here that is truly underutilized. Let’s revitalize this park and make it a place that we are all proud of!
WHEN- NOW Is the time! We will begin raising funds winter of 2018 through 2019. The goal Is to construct the splash park as soon as enough funds are raised. We need to raise approximately $600,000 to build this project and to create enough funds to maintain the park for some years to come. We strive to have a grand opening of Memorial Day Weekend 2021
